Meet Ed Johnson:
Ed was born and raised in Morenci, Arizona, where growing up in a dysfunctional family inspired him to advocate for others in similar situations. His drive to serve led him to become a Police Officer, initially serving the people of the Tohono O’odham Nation in Sells, Arizona, before relocating to Goodyear, Arizona. During his time with the Police Department, Ed held various roles, including School Resource Officer and motorcycle officer. His law enforcement career ended after an on-duty accident resulted in a serious back injury, forcing him to retire.
Determined to continue helping others, Ed returned to school, graduating at the top of his class from Arizona State University (#1 out of 2,907 students). He then pursued law, where he served as Student Body President and founded the J. Reuben Clark Law Society during his time in law school. Ed completed his law degree in just two years by taking intensive summer and winter courses.
With fifteen years of legal experience, Ed has represented thousands of families, handling thousands of adoptions. He takes pride in being highly accessible to his clients, promptly responding to texts and phone calls to ensure their needs are met.
